Step 4: Make sure your DreamBox representative has the following information:
- Summer school start and end dates, when applicable.
- When your new classroom rosters will be ready to share with DreamBox.
- The date you want to launch DreamBox Math and/or Reading Park for the coming school year.
- Relevant IT personnel contact information.
What You Need to Know Before You Set Up Your Data Sync
- Which classes/sections in your Student Information System (SIS) should have access to DreamBox?
- Will users (students/teachers/administrators) log in using single sign-on (SSO) via your district portal?
- Which staff members need administrative access to DreamBox?
- Do you have students/sections that are not in your SIS, but will need access to DreamBox?
- If you have special considerations or need help setting up data filtering rules, contact DreamBox Customer Support. You may also connect with Clever Support, who can provide click-by-click instructions on how to set up data sharing.
How to Share Rosters via Clever
Note: If this is your first year using Clever to roster follow the steps listed in the Clever + DreamBox Setup Guide to set up your Clever account and begin sharing data. Only share the schools, classrooms, teachers, and students who need access to DreamBox. |
Step 1: Review the data to ensure the following:
- All sections have assigned teachers, subject areas, and grade levels.
- All students have designated grade levels and sections.
- All teachers and administrators have email addresses.
Step 2: Filter the data you share with us so you share only the schools, classrooms, teachers, and students who should be using DreamBox.
Step 3: Share all administrators who need access to DreamBox, including their school or district association.
Note: If you would like students/teachers/administrators to sign in to DreamBox using a district portal or single sign-on (SSO) function, make sure to configure Clever SSO directly in your Clever platform and share all administrators via Clever. Click here for additional information on how to do this. |
What to Do After Customer Support Confirms Your Rosters Are Updated
- Alert your school/district stakeholders and review the DreamBox rosters to ensure that the set-up is correct.
- Contact DreamBox Customer Support if you need any roster adjustments that you are unable to make directly in your Clever dashboard.
- If there are no additional updates needed to your rosters, reach out to DreamBox Customer Support and confirm that DreamBox Math or Reading Park is ready for teachers to log in. We will send a welcome email to all Math teachers with active classrooms.
Note: We will not send login information to Math teachers until you and your team have reviewed your rosters. |
Please plan for up to two business days before your data is ready for you to review. If you have any questions, please contact our DreamBox Customer Support team.
