Math Insight Roster Upload should be used only by customers who set up schools or districts in DreamBox Math before 7/28/2025. New customers that want an upload option should use Discovery Education Bulk Import.
If you are using Insight Roster Upload to create or update your staff information and classroom rosters in DreamBox, you need to upload spreadsheets saved as CSV files.
You can save files as CSVs in spreadsheet programs like Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets. If you are working in a different application, like a table in Microsoft Word, you need to transfer the information in the table to a spreadsheet program before saving as a CSV.
What is a CSV file?
A Comma Separated Values (CSV) file is a plain text file that contains a list of all data in the file. The data is organized into lists separated by commas. This makes it a simpler way to exchange or update data in different applications. Only CSV roster files will upload successfully in your Insight Dashboard.
