Adding new lessons often increases the total number of standards DreamBox Math supports. New lessons can also increase the number of learning objectives in which a student needs to demonstrate proficiency to complete a standard. As a result, previously completed standards may now appear as only partially complete for students who are actively working in that part of the curriculum.
New and updated standards affect the following reports and features:
The Standards Report
Classroom Standards Report
These percentages will change if new lessons map to existing standards:
- Grid View: New standards will now appear in the report. Some previously completed standards may move to "In Progress" if there are new lessons that the student needs to play to demonstrate understanding.
- Group View: The progress that students have made in the Focal Area, Cluster, or Standard may change.
Student Standards Report
Total standards may change as well as the percentage representing the progress a student has made in the standard.

The Activity Feed
If the new lessons align to a standard that was previously completed, that standard will move to "In Progress." When the students play the new lessons, you will see those appear in the activity feed with the previously completed standard shown. Once the student completes that standard with proficiency, you will see a second standard completed activity card.
