How to Create Bookmarks and Shortcuts for DreamBox Login Pages

You may wish to create a shortcut to your students' login page for ease of access. Shortcuts can be created on computers and iPads.

Computer Shortcuts

Below are the two most common shortcut options for major internet browsers:

Bookmark the Page in Your Preferred Browser

All web browsers have a "Bookmark" or "Favorites" feature. You can bookmark the login page for your student so that you can return to the login page at any time by selecting it from your list of bookmarks. Because all browsers are different, you will want to explore the Help options in your browser for directions on creating a bookmark.

Create a Shortcut of the Page on Your Desktop

You can add an icon to your computer's desktop that will open your students' login page when clicked. This shortcut icon can be created from all major web browsers.

  • Open the student login page in your preferred web browser.
  • Resize your browser window so that you can see your computer's desktop behind the window.
  • Hover your mouse cursor over the website icon in your address bar. This will usually appear as a small padlock.
