Use the information in the Currently Playing section to learn more about which students:
- Are working through the same concepts.
- Could benefit from an encouraging or helpful message.
- Could benefit from a DreamBox Math Assignment.
This article walks through how to explore student progress in the Currently Playing section of the Home page.
Filtering the Home Page
You can view student information for most sections of the Home page factors as an entire classroom or for a specific student. There are a few ways to filter Home page information:
See an Entire Classroom
If you are associated with more than one classroom in DreamBox Math, select a classroom in the Classroom filter drop-down and leave the Student filter set to All Students.
See One Student
There are two ways to see information for just one student on the Home page:
- Use the Home page filters
- Select a student inside the Student Usage table.
Using the Home Page Filters
If you are associated with more than one classroom in DreamBox Math, select a classroom in the Classroom filter drop-down and then select a student in the Student filter drop-down.
Exploring the Currently Playing Section
The cards in Currently Playing will show slightly different details depending on whether you are viewing play for an entire class or a specific student.
Classroom View
If you are viewing an entire classroom:
- Each tile shows at least part of the domain and standard name, and the number of students playing lessons associated with the standard in that domain.
- If you select View, the window that opens shows the specific standard, standard text, and the names of all students playing lessons associated with the standards.
Single Student View
If you are viewing a student:
-
Each tile shows at least part of the domain and standard name. Unlike the classroom view, it will always show that only one student is playing a lesson associated with the standards in that domain.
-
If you select View, the window that opens shows the specific standard, standard text, and the student's name.
