DreamBox Math: New or Updated Standards FAQs

This article focuses on Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) when DreamBox Math updates or adds new academic standards.

Q: How do I figure out if I'm seeing a recently added state standard in my educator dashboard?

A: You can see which academic standard is selected on your educator dashboard by checking the Home or Reports page. If you want to adjust the selected academic standards, you can do so from either page, or from your Settings tabs.

Q: Will I be able to review individual student proficiency aligned to my state academic standards as soon as they are available in DreamBox Math?

A: Yes. Student progress in your state standard is available as soon as the standards alignment is added or updated. You'll want to check which academic standards you're viewing first to see standards progress aligned to your state, CCSS, or DreamBox Learning Units.

Q: DreamBox Math administrators: Will I be able to review individual student proficiency aligned to my state academic standards as soon as they are available in DreamBox Math?

A: No. Growth and proficiency are only available for the timeframe in which your state academic standard is available. Since your academic standard wasn't available at the start of the school year, we weren't able to calculate growth and standards proficiency at that time. We started calculating this data as soon as we added your state, so you’ll see partial growth for the school year. If you want to see growth or standards proficiency for the entire school year, switch to Common Core State Standards in the dropdown.
