How DreamBox Math Recommends Lessons

(Aviso: Pulsa aquí para leer el artículo en español)

DreamBox offers over 2,300 lessons with millions of paths through the curriculum. It adjusts in real-time, adapting hints, level of difficulty, pace, and sequence, to engage students in their optimal learning zone. DreamBox Math lessons are not set up as linear progression. For example, if three different students are working on a particular lesson, they will each be offered different follow-up lessons based on how they responded to questions throughout the lesson. The DreamBox adaptive engine selects the next set of recommended lessons based on each student’s demonstrated strengths and struggles.

While it is recommended that students chart their learning path, educators can choose specific lessons for a student to work on using the Assignments feature in the Insight Dashboard. DreamBox also provides high-quality virtual manipulative tools that teachers and parents can use to demonstrate lessons on any type of interactive whiteboard.
