Reassign the Initial Assessment

Students are automatically assigned to take the Initial Assessment the first time they log in, so teachers can only re-assign this assessment.

Reassigning the Initial Assessment

When the Initial Assessment is reassigned to a student, the student's previous data for the Initial Assessment is overwritten. This could dramatically affect placement values and all of the student's completed work will be lost.

  • Open the Insight Assessment tab in the Edit Student window. If a student has completed the Initial Assessment, the Initial Assessment tile will show Completed, the Re-Assign checkbox, and confirm it has been completed in the summary below the assessment tiles.
