When Can Teachers Assign the InSight Assessment?
Teachers can assign students to three phases of assessment throughout the school year.
Initial AssessmentBenchmark 1 |

Administered at the beginning of the school year. Students will be automatically assigned to take the Initial Assessment the first time they log in.

Administered mid-year after students have completed 40 or more Reading lessons. | Administered at the end of the school year, after students have completed 80 or more lessons. |

Assign the InSight Assessment to a Class
- From the sidebar, click the Manage button, confirm the Classes tab is selected, and click the Settings link next to a class.

- When the Class Settings window opens, select the InSight Assessment tab, and click the Manage Assessment tile of the assessment you want to assign.

- When the class list appears, click the box at the top of the first column and click Assign Students at the bottom of the page.

- When the students appear in the ASSIGNED column, click OK to assign the assessment.
