Clever Single Sign-On
Clever Secure Sync integrates with your SIS to automatically create, organize, and maintain teacher, student, and class roster data in Discovery Education. Clever Instant Login (SSO) allows teachers and students to access Discovery Education by simply clicking the Discovery Education icon in Clever. Many districts are using Clever as a portal for access to their online services and applications.

ClassLink Single Sign-On
ClassLink Single Sign-On enables students, teachers, and administrators to log into Discovery Education using ClassLink’s LaunchPad, eliminating the need for users to enter credentials to access Discovery Education. Provisioning and updating users and classes can be easily achieved via OneRoster REST APIs by adding Discovery Education’s OneRoster app in ClassLink and enabling permission to district data.

Google Single Sign-On
Google Single Sign-On (SSO) enables teachers and students to log into Discovery Education using district Google/Google Apps accounts. User management (provisioning and updating) can be achieved by mapping your Google Organization Units (OUs) or Groups to corresponding schools and roles within Discovery Education.

Office 365 Single Sign-On
Office 365 Single Sign-On (SSO) allows users to log into Discovery Education using their Office 365 account. Currently, user management (creating and updating users) in Discovery Education is achieved via CSV files that are posted nightly to Discovery Education’s SFTP server, which is a process that can be automated. Class and Class Roster data can also be imported via the same process.
LDAP Single Sign-On
Discovery Education offers the ability to integrate with a district’s Active Directory (AD) using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) for Single Sign-On (SSO). This allows users to log into Discovery Education with familiar credentials at a custom URL.
User management (creating and updating users) in Discovery Education is achieved via CSV files that are posted nightly to Discovery Education’s SFTP server, which is a process that can be automated. Class and Class Roster data can also be imported via the same process.
SAML/ADF's Single Sign-On
Discovery Education offers the ability to provide Single Sign-On (SSO) using Microsoft’s Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), or a SAML 2.0 provider. This allows users to log into Discovery Education with familiar credentials, and also supports session-based SSO triggering.
User management (creating and updating users) in Discovery Education is achieved via CSV files that are posted nightly to Discovery Education’s SFTP server, which is a process that can be automated. Class and Class Roster data can also be imported via the same process.
NCEdCloud Single Sign-On (NC Only)
The NCEdCloud IAM Service SSO (single sign-on) integration allows users to log into Discovery Education via the NCEdCloud IAM Service portal or via nc.discoveryeducation.com. Staff and student user accounts are imported into Discovery Education from the NCEdCloud IAM Service on a regular basis.
