How Do You Open DreamBox Settings?
Educators follow different steps to add students to a classroom based on how their DreamBox Math educator dashboard is configured. The quickest way to determine which directions to follow is to open your Math educator dashboard and check if the Settings icon appears in the top navigation pane.
In the table below, find the image that matches your dashboard and click the link to jump to the correct instructions.

Your DreamBox Math role and dashboard access permissions affect whether you can edit or view a classroom roster.

DreamBox Math administrators see a different set of Settings tabs than teachers. Administrators can see a teacher's Settings tabs, but they need to follow different instructions.

From the Settings Icon: What is the Difference between Adding or Creating a Student?
There are two ways you can add a student to your classroom roster. You can add a student who already exists in the DreamBox Math system, or you can create a new student in your roster.
| Most students are loaded in to DreamBox Math by your site or district IT team. If a student already exists in DreamBox Math, creating a new version of the student will create a duplicate account, and if the student plays using both accounts, the progress from each account cannot be merged. Please check with your IT team or DreamBox administrator before creating a new student. |
