Administrators can view and adjust a specific teacher's Settings tabs in from their DreamBox Math educator dashboard. What administrators can see and do depends on how their DreamBox Math educator dashboard is configured.
How Do You Open DreamBox Settings?
Administrators follow different steps to view a teacher's Settings tabs based on how their DreamBox Math educator dashboard is configured. The quickest way to determine which directions to follow is to open your Math educator dashboard and check if the Settings icon appears in the top navigation pane.

Administrators cannot see the Settings icon in their DreamBox Math educator dashboard. If they are in their DreamBox Math educator dashboard and want to see a teacher's Settings tabs, they have two options. They can either

From the Settings Icon: What Can Administrators See and Do?
If administrators can see the Settings icon in the top navigation pane of their DreamBox Math educator dashboard, administrators can:
- Update classroom settings like password type, learning environment, or student access to incentives like My House or the Arcade
- Adjust class rosters and student details
- Set student initial placement or DreamBox Math language

- Click the Settings icon in the Top Navigation pane, and then select the Educators tab.

- Use the filters at the top of the page to select the teachers you want to view.

- Find the teacher you want to open. Depending on the size of the school, there may be multiple pages of teachers.

- When you have found the teacher you want to open, click the Edit button next to their name. The Settings tabs for that teacher will appear.

DreamBox Settings: Impersonating a Teacher from Discovery Education Experience or Opening a Teacher's Settings Tabs

DreamBox Settings: Impersonating a Teacher from Discovery Education Experience
Administrators who do not see the Settings icon at the top of their DreamBox Math educator dashboard can also choose to impersonate a teacher from their Discovery Education Experience Home page and then open DreamBox Math.
Opening the Discovery Education Experience Home Page
To impersonate a teacher and open their DreamBox Math home page you must first open your Discovery Experience Home Page by either signing in through Discovery Education or opening the Home Page from your DreamBox Math educator dashboard.
If you have already opened your Experience Home pPage, click here to jump to the next set of instructions. If you are currently viewing your DreamBox Math educator dashboard, follow the below directions.
- Click your name and select Roster Management in the drop-down list.

- When the My Admin page opens, click the Discovery Education logo in the top left corner.

Impersonating a Teacher and Opening DreamBox Math
- When you have opened the Discovery Education Experience Home page, click here to open directions on how to impersonate a teacher, and then continue following the directions.
- When the teacher's Experience Home page opens, select DreamBox Math at the top of the teacher's dashboard.

Opening Teacher Settings while Impersonating a Teacher
Their DreamBox Math educator dashboard will open and default to the teacher's Home page. From the Home page:
- Click the educator's name in the top right corner of the dashboard and select DreamBox Settings from the drop-down list.

- Click DreamBox Math from your Discovery Education Experience Home page.

- When your DreamBox Math educator dashboard opens, click your name and select DreamBox Settings.

- When your DreamBox Settings tabs open, click the Educator Preferences tab.

- Update the Schools and Role filters to locate the educator you are looking for. When you have found them, click View next to their name.
