The teachers' Home Page is packed with timely and actionable information organized into different sections. How Do You Open DreamBox Settings?
Administrators follow different steps to adjust teacher accounts or classroom settings based on how their DreamBox Math educator dashboard is configured. The quickest way to determine which directions to follow is to open your Math educator dashboard and check if the Settings icon appears in the top navigation pane.

Administrators cannot see the Settings icon in their DreamBox Math educator dashboard. If they are in their DreamBox Math educator dashboard and need to adjust teacher accounts, they select their name and then click Roster Management to open their Discovery Education My Admin tools.

See a Teacher's Home Page Using View Mode
All administrators can use View Mode to see a teacher's Home page regardless of how their DreamBox Math educator dashboard is configured. Click a link below to jump to the information you need.

Opening a Teacher’s Home Page in View Mode
- Open the Math educator dashboard and click the Reports icon. Select the school, teacher, and classroom in the Reports page filters.

| If the teacher is connected to multiple classrooms you can select a specific classroom to view now or wait and make the selection inside View Mode. |
- When the page updates, you will see the open Home view button. Click the open Home view button.

- The teacher's Home Page opens, showing a banner across the top of the page confirming you are now in View Mode. To exit the Home Page and return to the Reports Page, click Exit View Mode in the top right corner of the screen.
Navigating the Home Page via View Mode
You can view the Home Page from the lens of a specific classroom or individual student. You can adjust this view one of two ways:
- Use the filters at the top of the page to select a specific classroom and student.
- Click the name of a specific student inside the Student Usage section. The Home Page will adjust each section to reflect data for only the selected student.
There are additional ways to adjust the information you see on the Home Page
- Use the filters at the top of the page to select the week you wish to view. Choose between This Week and Last Week.
- There are additional reports available in each section of the Home Page. To open a report, click the name of the page or report you wish to view.

Which Features are Disabled on a Teacher's Home Page in View Mode?
We have disabled the Teacher-Student messaging and Standards features in View Mode to ensure the teacher experience stays as it is the next time they sign in to their educator dashboard. Student messages are not visible, and you will not be able to adjust the standards they see.
Impersonating a Teacher from Discovery Education Experience
Administrators who do not see the Settings icon at the top of their DreamBox Math educator dashboard can also choose to impersonate a teacher from their Discovery Education Experience Home page and then open DreamBox Math.
Opening the Discovery Education Experience Home Page
To impersonate a teacher and open their DreamBox Math home page you must first open your Discovery Experience Home Page by either signing in through Discovery Education or opening the Home Page from your DreamBox Math educator dashboard.
If you have already opened your Experience Home pPage, click here to jump to the next set of instructions. If you are currently viewing your DreamBox Math educator dashboard, follow the below directions.
- Click your name and select Roster Management in the drop-down list.

- When the My Admin page opens, click the Discovery Education logo in the top left corner.

Impersonating a Teacher and Opening DreamBox Math
- When you have opened the Discovery Education Experience Home page, click here to open directions on how to impersonate a teacher, and then continue following the directions.
- When the teacher's Experience Home page opens, select DreamBox Math at the top of the teacher's dashboard.

- Their DreamBox Math educator dashboard will open and default to the teacher's Home page. If for any reason it does not, click the Home icon in the top navigation pane.
