Use the troubleshooting tips below if a student cannot see the entire screen or a specific button when logged in to Reading Plus.
Troubleshooting Tips
Check the Zoom or Magnification Settings
If the student is not able to see everything on their screen, they may only be seeing a part of a page because they are zoomed in too far or not far enough. The browser should be set at 100% zoom for best performance. To check and adjust this until you see the missing elements or images:
On a desktop, laptop or Chromebook:
- Windows PC: Press the Ctrl and + keys at the same time to zoom in, and press the Ctrl and - keys to zoom out.
- Apple Mac: Press the Command and + keys at the same time to zoom in, and the Command and - keys at the same time to zoom out.
On a tablet:
- iPad: Double-tap the display with three fingers to zoom out.
Click here to open an Apple Support article about turning zoom off in your settings. |
- Android tablet (Chrome browser):
Click here to open a Google Support guide to using page zoom in Google Chrome. |
Check the Screen Resolution
If adjusting the zoom or magnification settings does not resolve your issue, check your screen resolution. Reading Plus requires a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.
