Clever and ClassLink automate the secure transfer of student rosters between your student information system (SIS) and DreamBox. This means your classroom rosters and student information should be continuously updated so they are up-to-date and students and teachers can sign in using single sign-on (SSO).
If your school uses Clever or ClassLink to set up your rosters in DreamBox Math, keep the following information in mind.

DO: Contact your school/district administrator if you need to update your classroom roster.
This includes:
- Add a new or existing student to your Math classroom.
- Create a new Math classroom.
Classroom Roster Don'ts
DON'T: Manually add a new Math student to your classroom.
All new students should be managed via the data sync with Clever® or ClassLink and edited directly in your school/district student information system.
DON'T: Create a new Math account for a student who already has access to DreamBox Math.
If you are unable to locate the student, reach out to your district or school IT team, and then contact our Customer Support team.
DON'T: Use the edit settings in your math educator dashboard or Discovery Education classroom manager to edit a student’s information.
Instead, contact your school/district administrator or IT team to have these details edited in the student information system (SIS), which then syncs data with DreamBox.
DON'T: Reach out to our Customer Support team for your or your students' SSO credentials.
Our Customer Support team does not have these credentials. You need to speak with your school/district administrator or IT team to get your SSO/district portal username and passwords.
DON'T: Use the username and passwords in your Math educator dashboard or Discovery Education Classroom page if your students are meant to sign in to DreamBox Math via an SSO/district portal.
These usernames and passwords only work for the DreamBox Math or Discovery Education Direct Login methods.
DON'T: Remove yourself or other teachers from an active classroom in DreamBox Math.
This will prevent you and the other teachers from seeing their classroom and students when they sign in.
