Educator Tab Basics

Who can access the Educators tab?

DreamBox Math district and school-level administrators. Teachers cannot access the Educators tab.

How do I know if I can make changes in the Educators tab?

Two things impact your ability to make changes in the Educators tab:

  1. Your role in DreamBox Math: Only district and school DreamBox Math administrators can see and make changes in the Educators tab.
  2. Your dashboard roster management permissions: Your district may have updated what educators can edit in the dashboard.

I understand what I CAN do in the Educators tab. Are there things I CAN'T do?

School administrators can only update educators associated with the From the Educators tab, DreamBox Math administrators cannot:

  • Edit educator email addresses.

How do I remove educator accounts from DreamBox Math?

How your district removes educator accounts depends on how your district creates and updates rosters in DreamBox Math.

  • If your district uses an automated rostering method like Clever, ClassLink, or ARM, when your district IT team stops sharing an educator account with DreamBox Math, they lose access to the program.
  • If your school or district uploads spreadsheets at the beginning of the year to set up rosters, students, and teachers (Insight Roster Upload), reach out to DreamBox Customer Support for assistance.
